NOW ACCEPTING INTERVIEWS FOR RETAIL ASSOCIATE MANAGER

OPPORTUNITY FOR LATE SUMMER/FALL 2023

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager to oversee the operations of our specialty kitchen and gift store located in State College, PA. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for the retail industry. The Store Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store. This includes sales, inventory management, customer service, and staff training and supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the store's operations, including sales, inventory, staffing, and customer service and work alongside of owner.

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales

  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure they provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high standard of store presentation

  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for new stock when necessary

  • Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times

  • Analyze sales data and make recommendations to improve performance

  • Create and execute promotional events to increase sales and customer engagement

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, retail management or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to improve performance

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and inventory management software

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
